Our Orchestra

The orchestra is a small, friendly ensemble who meet at St. Nicholas Parish Centre, Shepperton, on Tuesdays during term time from 7.30 to 9.00 pm. The group’s main purpose is to play for pleasure, allowing those with experience to maintain their skills and giving an opportunity for newer musicians to develop in a safe and welcoming environment.

David Bruce

Conductor

David is a local, recently-retired music teacher. He has led school choir and music groups in Spelthorne and Runnymede for over 40 years. His choirs have performed at prestige venues such as The O2 Arena, Wembley Arena, Dorking Halls, The Prince’s Theatre, Aldershot and The HG Wells Theatre, Woking.
